Manchester United defender Louis Rowley has signed for Leicester City on a one-year contract.
The 19-year-old will link up with Jack Barmby at the newly-promoted Barclays Premier League club after the striker joined the Foxes' Development Squad in May.
Warren Joyce used Rowley both at full-back and in a defensive midfield role as the Under-21s reached the final of the nationwide competition last season but he missed the defeat to Chelsea due to injury.
The blond-haired youngster also appeared in the UEFA Youth League and made nine appearances in total in the Under-21 Premier League.
Meanwhile, Everton have confirmed the signing of Sam Byrne following his release from United at the end of the season.
